​​Your UQAT Account is the username that you need to use to connect on all of the organisation’s systems

Students

Your account is made up of 4 letters and 2 or 3 numbers. It has the following structure:

·        Letters: Three first letters of your surname and the first letter of your name

·        Numbers: Two or three numbers serving as natural increments to differentiate similar names

For example: John Doe: doej01 when it is 2 numbers, or doej123 for 3 numbers​

Employees

Your account is made up of a maximum of 8 letters and possibly 2 numbers. It has the following structure :

·        Letters: Seven first letters of your surname and the first letter of your name

·        Numbers: Two or three numbers serving as natural increments to differentiate similar names

For example: Jean Tremblay: tremblaj without numbers, or tremblaj02 with numbers 

This account has been sent to you by your supervisor on your first day.​

Single Sign-On

UQAT has created a unique and centralized connection platform for its different systems. You will therefore be able to, in one single connection, to connect to Symbiose, Outlook (email), Moodle, Panopto, and all the Office 365 suite.

To connect to this platform, you need to use the following account format: uqataccount@uqat.ca.

The "@uqat.ca" allows to specify the connection domain, it will always be the same as long as you will be using your UQAT account.

For example: John Doe: doej01@uqat.ca
